• Question: What is the maximum age at which somebody can get chicken pox and live?

      I don’t think there’s a maximum age. Older people tend to get more severe infections but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will die from it.

      Chicken pox is capable of infecting everyone regardless of age. It is just the effects on adults is more severe then in children. That is not to say that with the aid of medical treatment they will die from the infection.
