Predominately I work here in the U.K. and I drive to various locations for jobs.

When I was doing my PhD I got to travel to Europe a few times to present my work to other scientists.

At the start of this year I was doing animal conservation in South Africa which was an amazing experience.

So I guess work has taken me a few places and hopefully that will continue.

I work mostly in the UK at the moment. In the past I worked in Ireland, France and for a short period of time in Uganda (East Africa).
I have done a little bit of traveling and I hope to do a lot more in the future, for scientists there is often a lot of need to travel to different places for conferences.
As well as conferences, for me at least I would really like to carry out work in Africa and Asia as I would love to work on bats in these areas and hopefully figure out what sort of viruses they might have and investigate if these viruses might someday be a risk to people.
