      HPV is a virus- it stands for Human papilloma virus. This virus infects us and grows in our body. If a person has just been infected with the virus, To treat HPV infection, we can use antiviral drugs which will get rid of the virus.

      But in some people, the virus causes cancer and in the process of causing cancers, the virus cannot divide anymore. Which means the person now have cancer but no virus. In that case they are treated for their cancer but not for the virus
