  The weirdest thing I think I ever saw was when someone decided they were going to live in the building I was working in. They slept in a medical room and then used the communal kitchens and bathrooms. Very amusing if slightly bizarre.

I saw a worm called Ascaris lumbricoides that had been coughed up by a patient. They look like white earthworms. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ascaris_lumbricoides
